What is Southern Style Food?
Often referred to as “Comfort Food”, southern style food can be described as “traditional” or home-style. At K&W Cafeteria, we prepare our home-style food using time-honored recipes that have been enjoyed by our customers since 1937. True southern items like country style steak, meatloaf, fried chicken, baked ham, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, black-eyed peas, pinto beans and chocolate cream pie are typical of what K&W has to offer. Never compromising on quality, you’ll find true southern-style in the food and in our service at K&W Cafeteria.
Why do we do Southern style food best?
K&W Cafeterias have been family owned since 1937! Founder, Grady T. Allred, Sr. once stated “While trends come and go, good food at a reasonable price is never out of style.” The Allred family still owns K&W and they and their employees continue to operate their restaurants based on that philosophy. Everything at K&W is made in small batches to ensure the level of freshness and quality you’ll enjoy. Our dining rooms are large, comfortable, and family-friendly, able to accommodate individuals and large groups. The wait staff is friendly and eager to please you.
