What is Southern style food?
Often referred to as “comfort food,” southern style meals can generally be described as both “traditional “and “delicious.” Here at K&W Cafeteria, we prepare our home-style food using time-honored recipes that have been enjoyed by our customers since 1937. Authentic southern dishes like country-style steak, meatloaf, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, and chocolate cream pie are typical of what you’ll find at K&W Cafeterias. There’s a reason K&W is famous throughout the southeast and that’s because we consistently provide great food and southern hospitality at reasonable prices.
Why do we do Southern style food best?
K&W Founder Grady T. Allred Sr. once said that “while trends come and go, good food at a reasonable price is never out of style.” For three generations, the Allred family has continued their commitment to this philosophy. We never compromise on using fresh ingredients and we prepare our food in small batches to make sure it’s always fresh for our customers. K&W’s dining rooms are large and comfortable and able to accommodate individuals, families, and large groups. We understand southern hospitality and want to make your visit special.
