How It Works
Come in. Line up. Enjoy.
At K&W, customers can pick and choose their favorite made-from-scratch dishes and enjoy great company in a traditional cafeteria environment.
Here’s how the cafeteria experience works:
Step01
Come on in.
When you enter a K&W, you’ll notice a long serving line, full of dozens of fresh options to build your meal. On the other side of that line, our friendly team members are ready to serve you.
Step02
Pick your favorites.
Once you’ve reached the serving line, simply grab a tray and a roll of silverware. Then, our team members at each station, from salads to entrees to desserts, will serve you whatever you like. You can fill up your tray, or simply go for Apple Pie and coffee, whatever you’re in the mood for today.
Step03
Enjoy!
At the end of the serving line, you’ll be given a ticket, but you don’t pay here. We want your food to be nice and hot when you choose any open table or booth in the dining room. If you need help with your tray - or your child’s tray - one of our servers will happily help you to your seats.
Step04
Pay at the front desk.
When you’re all done, simply take your ticket to the cashier at the front desk. Tipping your dining room server is optional, and we accept cash or any major credit card.

K&W Cafeterias is more than just a restaurant chain; it’s a story of passion, tradition, and resilience that spans over eight decades. It all began with a man named Grady T. Allred, Sr., who had a dream of serving home-style food to his community.
At K&W, the team members treat every customer like family, and the food is always made from scratch using fresh and wholesome ingredients. Whether it’s fried okra, cornbread, coconut cream pie, or no sugar added desserts, K&W offers something for everyone to enjoy.
